The only outlets that are available are in the bathrooms. We recommend bringing battery powered items (lights, air mattress pumps, and a portable phone charger.)
We encourage to participate in all activities to receive the best experience from the weekend. However, accommodations can be made ahead of time.
We will go on day and night hikes, a cypress dome hike (slough slog), and canoeing. All activities are tentative due to weather and water levels.
There are men's and women's bathrooms at the campsite; however, no showers. A shower voucher will be given to all participants to be able to shower at Long Pine Key Campground.
There will be a wood-fire fire pit, a BBQ, and some propane stoves you can cook food on.
There are bear lockers to put dry food in and a storage room where coolers can be stored
There is limited space in the camping area, however the cars will not be far from the site.
The program proceeds, rain or shine! So make sure your group comes prepared for all weather conditions. There are no refunds for inclement weather.
